RetreatSuitable for people with Parkinson’s disease, Parkinson’s syndrome and Huntington’s disease, who have a fair degree of mobility (light to moderately affected). Attendees must be able to manage their own personal care and mobility, as Yoga and movement form a significant portion of this retreat. Attending with a support person is encouraged, where possible.

Teachings at this retreat are based on the clinical experience and successes of neurologist, Professor Sanjay Raghav, and his Parkinson’s-specific yoga program, which he has been running with impressive results since 2014. Over 5 life-changing days, you will gain the practical knowledge and receive expert guidance with implementing these practices in your life, so you can better manage your condition, and make a positive impact on your health and wellbeing.

Please read the following

1. The management team is not responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings.

2. The fee does not include travel to & from the retreat's location at which the proposed services shall be provided & this shall be the sole responsibility of the attendees.

3. Attendees must be able to manage their own personal care and mobility, as Yoga and movement form a significant portion of this retreat. Attending with a support person is encouraged, where possible.

4. The attendees are responsible for their own personal medical needs/requirements, clothing & footwear for the duration of the retreat.

5. It is the attendee's responsibility to inform the management in writing of any past, present or potential health issues that may make them unsuitable to participate in the retreat.

Refund Policy

Refunds applicable only before May 30

Full refund will be applicable if request submitted before May 30, 2023. Additionally, a $100 processing fee will be deducted.

No refunds will be made after May 30, 2023

WHAT IS PROVIDED:

INFORMATION FOR GUESTS

1. Bedding. Provided: Sheets, plenty of blankets, different types of pillows.

2. Towels.

3. Plant-based Food. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, morning and afternoon teas.

4. Hand sanitiser, masks.

5. Filtered water.

6. Heating.

WHAT TO BRING:

1. An open mind.

2. Water bottle. You can refill with filtered water from any tap at the Centre.

3. Toiletries and own soap. Tissues.

4. Prescription medicines

5. Sleepwear.

6. Indoor shoes or slippers.

7. Outdoor shoes, rain boots or gumboots.

8. Clothes: please bring enough clothes for your stay. Laundry facilities are not available to guests. Be prepared for cold weather.

9. Rain jacket and umbrella.

10. Notepad and pen.
